Solomon’s wisdom and his proverbs became widely known in every nation of his time, as the Queen of Sheba acknowledged.Īn additional prophecy which I believe predicts this binding of Satan is found in I Samuel 2:8-10 (Septuagint) where Hannah’s magnificat extols a God who “lifts up the poor from the earth, and raises the needy from the dunghill to seat him with the princes of the people, and causing them to inherit the throne of glory ” (Think of David the shepherd soon to be raised to the throne.) Note particularly v. 7 where it says that “in his days (Solomon’s days) shall righteousness spring up”. 16 that “There shall be an establishment on the earth on the tops of the mountains” being a reference to the temple of Jerusalem being built, and v. ![]() ![]() Starting with 968 BC, when Solomon laid the temple foundation, God says through David in Psalm 72:4 (Septuagint) that Solomon “shall bring low the false accuser.” (I believe this to be the prophecy that describes the initial binding of Satan during the millennial period of 968 BC – AD 33 at Christ’s crucifixion.) Read the entire Psalm 72 in the Septuagint, and you will notice in v. Whether anyone realizes it or not, you are looking at the layout of almost the entire first half of the millennium.
